MOB FAM is a Latino hip-hop group representing the streets of South Phoenix, AZ. They are a group of 3 members who are all brothers, T.S. ,Young Thug, and S.C. Each artist contributes his own unique style to the group. They began rapping as a group in 1998 and after 9 years of hard work, they released their debut album Street Fame in 2006. Recorded in the early part of 2006, MOB FAM released singles from the Street Fame album which went on to sell over 10,000 copies in Arizona. Street Fame brought an instant buzz to the Arizona hip-hop scene. Soon after, MOB FAM began working on their second album, which is titled The Takeover. This album is highly anticipated to drop in 2011. This album has produced two hot singles which have created a buzz in the Phoenix Metro area.
The first single 'Mama Raised A Thug Star', which premiered on Power 98.3's (formerly Power 92.3) radio show 'Hate it or Love It', and was approved by radio station listener's by a massive 85% approval rating. As well as MOB FAM being interviewed and performing on The 'Rhyme and Reason show on Power 98.3fm. Also 'GANGSTAS ARE BACK' Was Featured on POWER 98.3fm's Street Heat of the Week" And now buzzing is "WE OKAY" Also MOBFAM landed a track called REPP YO FLAG" On the "THE REWIRE" MC MAGIC'S NEW ALBUM' MOB FAM have been performing in many shows valley wide at Phoenix nightclubs, self-promoted events, and block parties. Well known local DJs have been spinning Mob Fam records at club events.
